Z-Square Technology To Deploy Road Testing System in Washington D.C

November, 2015— Z-Square Technology won the contract to deploy a tablet based Road Testing System, InteRoads-RT, in Washington D.C. The company won the project to deliver and deploy the system in 2015. InteRoads-RT will meet both commercial and non-commercial driving test requirements. The system will provide user-friendly and intuitive interface and capability to schedule appointments for road tests online.

Z-Square Deployed Knowledge Testing System in Washington D.C.

June 19, 2015: Z-Square Technology has successfully deployed its cutting-edge Knowledge Testing System, InteRoads, in Washington D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles. Z-Square has won contract to deploy a fully configurable and scalable Knowledge Testing System last year through a competitive bidding process and after meeting all custom requirements of DC Department of Motor Vehicles, we have launched the system in February 2015. InteRoads allows DC DMV to easily manage and offer both Commercial and Non-Commercial Knowledge Tests through its all locations.

Biometric technology was named the second most investable technology in 2013, after Near Field Communications. As demand increases for online banking and mobile payment, the standards for secure credentialing increase as well. According to research by TechCast, 77% of respondents in a survey about biometric ID said biometric technologies are a useful tool for the authentication of identity.

The Electronic ID Trend

A recent report by Acuity Market Intelligence predicted that – by 2015 – 85% of all credentials issued annually will be electronic identification or eID, and countries issuing eIDs will exceed those still using traditional IDs by four to one. Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Morocco, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Estonia and Spain are leading the charge in secure credentialing by using eIDs as their national identification card system.
